Bajaj India seems to be all set to rock with new 2010 range of Pulsar, which is expected to be launched on 8th December, 2009. The teaser website is up - goodbyetraffic.in - which shows a black Pulsar wrapped under white semi-transparent cover which gives a glimpse of New 2010 Pulsar. On hovering the cursor around fuel tank you can see the Bajaj Pulsar logo with smart new design air scoops which gels very well with the design of the fuel tank.
On hovering at the rear end of the bike you can see it will feature split seat with nitrox suspension - but the sticker has been blurred which shows that it is a 180cc or 200cc or 220cc. But I think it will be the New Pulsar 200 as Bajaj had recently launched the updated versions of Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 & Pulsar 220. They may fill the gap with the launch of New Pulsar 200. There are also rumours that this bike will be a Pulsar with 135cc engine from the XCD but I dont think so, Bajaj will not place Pulsar in the class of XCDs and Discovers. Lets hope for the best!! But one thing Bajaj should consider that this is not a good strategy to discontinue a product and then again launch it. They have done it so many times. Here is a very interesting list:

Phew!! A long list of new launches and upgrades. Though Bajaj has always succeded in these makeovers and spruced up products. New Pulsar 150, New Pulsar 180, New Pulsar 220 & Discover 100 has been a instant hit which has forced Bajaj to double the production of both the products. Lets hope they have another winner in their hands with this Pulsar.
Expected Changes In New 2010 Pulsar Or New Pulsar 200:
- All New Design For Fuel Tank
- New Design Air Scoops
- Rear Disc Brake Is Expected In 180cc models
- New Design For Alloy Wheels
- New Instrument Console
- Restyled Headlamp & Tail Tamp
- New Exhaust Design
- Sporty Split Seats
- Refines Engines (Maybe with increased power)
No official statement has been made about the technical details, specifications and price of New 2010 Pulsar range. May be the engines will remain the same - it can be only a cosmetic makeover to give pulsar a fresh lease of life. Let's wait and watch!!
